Job summary

Majestic Wine Wirral is seeking a dynamic Trainee Manager to join the UK's leading wine specialist. You will embark on a 12-month development programme, gaining hands-on experience across store operations, service and leadership standards, with the aim of becoming a future Store Manager.

You will support the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive sales, and develop product knowledge while working 44 hours per week on a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environment.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences to every customer.
• WSET wine knowledge or willingness to learn is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximizing sales opportunities and KPI improvement.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Act as a store ambassador and support the team in delivering a high-standard shopping experience.
• Sell the product story with in-depth range knowledge and tastings.
• Take ownership of store appearance and day-to-day operations, including stock delivery and merchandising.
• Support development of junior team members and feed back to the Store Manager.
