Job summary

Majestic Wine Wirral is seeking a dynamic Trainee Manager to join a 12-month development programme aimed at building future Store Managers. You will learn through a structured pathway with support from the Store Manager, gaining exposure to operations, service, and leadership standards.

The role demands a strong customer focus, teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends, plus driving a company van as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced retail or hospitality environments.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deliver a high-quality experience.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritisation under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance and maximise sales opportunities.
• Provide exceptional customer service to build loyalty and repeat business.
• Be an ambassador for the store and maintain product knowledge, including wine range and tastings.
• Contribute to merchandising, stock delivery, and contacting customers to drive sales.
