Majestic Wine Nottingham is seeking a dynamic Trainee Manager to join a 12-month development programme, gaining hands-on experience across operations, service and leadership. You’ll work with the Store Manager to lay the foundations for a future Store Manager role.

You will drive sales, deliver outstanding customer service, and actively engage customers with tastings and product knowledge while supporting daily store operations and company standards.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to problem-solve in high-pressure environments.
• Self-motivated and able to work alone or in a team.
• Positive, proactive attitude with problem-solving focus.
• Adaptable to changing business needs.
• Excellent communication and time management.
• Desire to progress WSET qualifications (Level 2/3).
• Full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with max 6 penalty points.

• Drive store performance by maximizing sales opportunities and improving KPI performance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to grow loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Offer VIP concierge service with proactive product updates and tastings.
• Share passion for products through knowledge, tastings, and events.
• Develop wine knowledge to support WSET qualification and selling confidence.
• Maintain store appearance and comply with brand standards internally and externally.
• Participate in daily ops: deliveries, merchandising, calling customers for opportunities.
• Identify improvements to optimise store operations.
