Majestic Wine Wirral is seeking a dynamic Trainee Manager to join a 12 month development programme designed to build expertise across operations, service and leadership, preparing you for a future Store Manager role. You will work under the Store Manager and participate in a structured career pathway while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

The role requires 44 hours per week, a full UK driving licence, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environments.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ability to prioritise and solve problems under pressure.
• Self-motivated, able to work alone or in a team.
• Willingness to develop wine knowledge and complete WSET levels 2 & 3.
• Holding a full UK driving licence with 12 months’ experience and ≤6 penalty points.

Responsabilités

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities.
• Deliver market-leading customer service to build loyalty.
• Provide VIP concierge service, updating customers on products and tastings.
• Share product knowledge through tastings and counter presentation.
• Support wine knowledge development and pursue WSET qualifications.
• Maintain store appearance and compliance with policies.
• Assist with deliveries and stock deliveries for smooth operations.
• Engage with customers to drive repeat business.
