Whole School Events and Creative Arts Technician - Culcheth High School
The role

Culcheth High School are looking to recruit a creative, organised and technically skilled individual, who has a passion across the creative arts. Our technicians work in conjunction with teaching staff and play a crucial role in the support and improvement of our student learning experience. This role is a full time, term time only.

The position provides creative, technical and organisational input into whole school and community events, including photography and the production of marketing materials. It also involves the provision of technical and administrative support for our creative departments, including music, drama and art.

Duties are outlined within the recruitment pack but include: in class guidance and support to students; setting up and maintaining equipment; reordering stock; maintaining an inventory of resources; supporting and supervising small groups of students working on curriculum specific projects; displays; assisting students with the collation of exam portfolios.

This is a varied, interesting but demanding role. A proactive attitude, a willingness to be flexible and adaptable, and the desire to make a difference to student achievement are all key. Experience of working with young people, in a similar position is a distinct advantage. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and work collaboratively across a range of teams is essential.
