Overview

Welsh-Speaking School Admin/Receptionist. Location: Welsh-Medium Primary School. Start Date: October – Christmas (Possibility of extension until July). Pay: £14 per hour (Increases Dependent on Experience & Qualifications).

We are seeking a fluent Welsh-speaking Admin/Receptionist to join a Welsh-medium primary school in Cardiff, starting in October. This is a temporary position initially until Christmas, with the potential to be extended until the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities
  • Greeting visitors, staff, and pupils in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answering incoming calls confidently and managing messages appropriately
  • Performing general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and record keeping
  • Using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) to complete daily tasks
  • Supporting school staff with various administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
  • Previous experience in an admin or receptionist role (highly desirable)
  • Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one prior to start)
