Job summary

Kauai is seeking a Team Member to join our welcoming café team at Virgin Active in London. You will deliver warm, friendly service to every member and guest while preparing fresh food and drinks to brand standards and maintaining excellent hygiene.

You’ll process orders on POS, stay knowledgeable about the menu and allergens, help keep the café stocked and presentable, and support training of new colleagues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or food service is desirable.
• Food Safety Level 2 qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Food Allergy and Intolerance Training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, friendly and genuine service to every member and guest.
• Prepare food and beverages to brand recipes and presentation standards.
• Process customer orders and payments accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, promotions, allergens and nutritional information.
• Recommend products and provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained.
• Complete opening, closing, preparation and temperature check procedures.
• Follow allergen procedures and prevent cross-contamination.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised café environment and displays.
• Collaborate with Virgin Active teams to deliver a seamless member experience.
• Support training of new team members and uphold brand standards.
