Job summary

Virgin Active, in partnership with Kauai, is seeking a Team Member to join our welcoming café environment. You will prepare food and drinks, serve customers, and support colleagues to deliver an outstanding member experience daily.

The role requires flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with strict attention to food safety and brand standards. Training will be provided to maintain high hygiene and service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality or food service is desirable.
• Food Safety Level 2 qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Food Allergy and Intolerance Training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, friendly and genuine service to every member and guest.
• Prepare food and beverages to brand recipes and presentation standards.
• Process customer orders and payments accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, promotions, allergens and nutritional information.
• Support the training of new team members and uphold Virgin Active brand standards.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming café environment and hygiene across front-of-house and displays.
