Job summary

Cardiff Council is recruiting for a Welfare Liaison Officer to join the Welfare Liaison Team, delivering a face-to-face welfare benefit and money advice service to Contract Holders in Central Library and other community settings.

You will provide income maximisation, budgeting and benefit advice, and help set up affordable payment arrangements for rent, Council tax and utilities, with a focus on high-quality customer service and effective dispute resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience in welfare benefit or money advice is beneficial but not essential as training is provided.
