A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Welfare Assistant to support Primary School Aged pupils with additional needs in Skelmersdale. This part-time role, from 11.30am to 1.30pm, involves engaging with children during lunch and fostering their development. Applicants should have experience with SEND and a passion for supporting children's learning. Key Stage Teacher Supply are working in partnership with a specialist school in Skelmersdale who support Primary School Aged pupils with additional needs. The school are looking to recruit a Welfare Assistant to cover over the lunch period, in the classroom setting from 11.30am-1.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Due to an increase in pupil numbers, the role is to start as soon as possible and they are keen to find somebody to support for the last term. It will be a long term role with the view to have the opportunity to apply to transfer over to a permanent contract or to transition into the classroom, for the right person.
