(ACT) is a manufacturer of thermal management products for diverse industries and applications, including commercial satellites, military vehicles, medical devices, primary calibration equipment, and HVAC systems. ACT is looking for team members who are passionate about creativity and innovation and want to make a difference every day. Currently, we have an immediate opening for an Engineering Technician/Welder at our Lancaster facility.

Position Summary: The Welding Technician is a hands-on role that works closely with Engineering to build and test thermal products. Responsibilities include welding support, product development, tooling design, and process development for manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • TIG welding of aerospace products
  • Support engineering in design, fabrication, testing of thermal products and hardware
  • Identify materials per inspection procedures
  • Braze or solder thermal products and hardware
  • Assist in design, fabrication, and testing using initiative and knowledge
  • Ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to delivery schedule development
  • Develop fabrication and test procedures
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Professional TIG welding training/certification or relevant experience
  • Experience in fabrication, brazing, machining, assembly, testing, and basic electricity is desirable
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR restrictions
