  • Build and modify steel structures based on technical drawings.
  • Perform MIG welding, grinding, and cutting to a high standard.
  • Work with various mild steel materials.
  • Follow health & safety protocols.
  • Assist on-site during installation projects.
Job description
Overview

Welder/Fabricator required for permanent opportunity with progressive, innovative and expanding company based near Woodbridge. Working from engineering drawings as part of a small team, the successful candidate will be MIG welding.

Responsibilities
  • Building and modifying steel structures based on technical drawings
  • Performing MIG welding, grinding, and cutting to a high standard
  • Working with various mild steel materials - box section, flat bar, angle iron, and more
  • Following health & safety protocols, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Occasionally assisting on-site during installation projects
Hours

Hours: Monday to Friday, with some flexibility on start and finish times and early finish on Friday.

Requirements
  • Applicants must have previous MIG welding experience
  • Enthusiastic nature and a passion for their work
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Appreciation/understanding of Health & Safety requirements
