Responsibilities
  • Undertake a variety of welding and brazing operations required in the assembly of parts or sub-assemblies
  • Carry out welding of aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel to industry-leading standards
  • Set and operate spot welders, and perform deburring, polishing, and cleaning tasks on all welding and brazing work
  • Support the maintenance team with welding work as required
  • Contribute to proof of concept and other development welding activities
Qualifications
  • Strong engineering background with experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Proficient in using measuring equipment, gas cutters, grinders, and Gas Tungsten Arc equipment
  • Certified to BS EN:12797:2000 and AWSD17.1/D17.1M:2010-AMD1 standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
