Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Multi skilled welder and fabricator for a temporary to permanent role based close to Diss, Norfolk. Responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings, cutting and welding metal components, and inspecting structures. Overview

Role - Multi skilled welder and fabricator

Location - Based close to Diss, Norfolk

Working hours - Monday to Friday - Full time hours with overtime

Capacity of role - Temporary to Permanent position

Rate of pay - Paying up to £18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Interpreting engineering drawings to determine the specifications and requirements of the assignment
• Cutting, shaping, bending and smoothing metal and other materials using hand tools, power tools and machines
• Welding components using various welding equipment - working on Mild and Stainless steel
• Testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structures to ensure they are of sound quality and structure

Candidate attributes

• Previous working experience in a similar position
• Own transport due to the location of the premises
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
