Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining metal components using various welding techniques.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in welding and fabrication processes.

This is a permanent role from day 1.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG/TIG welding and other welding techniques to join metal components accurately and securely.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal parts.
  • Conduct quality inspections on welds to ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts as required, ensuring proper fit and finish.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to welding equipment or fabrication processes.
2 Shift Rotation

6am-2pm (Monday-Friday shifts)

2pm-Midnight (Monday to Thursday shifts)

Pay: £15.37 per hour
