Job summary

Peel Ports Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller on a fixed-term basis at the Port of Liverpool. You will operate the traffic management system, maintain the SCADA terminal, and ensure safe weighbridge operations while processing tickets in line with SOPs.

You will liaise with engineers and supervisors to coordinate vessel discharge, storage activities and product movements, delivering accurate data and responsive service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a weighbridge and providing administration support in an operational environment.
• Knowledge of bulk handling methods is advantageous.
• Experience with SCADA systems and port operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the traffic management system and ensure safe site operation.
• Coordinate vessel discharge, storage activities and product movements with engineers and shift leaders.
• Operate the weighbridge safely and ensure accurate ticketing in line with SOPs.
• Utilise a range of software packages, including Microsoft Office, to support operations.
