Job summary

Peel Ports Group is seeking a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller for the Port of Liverpool on a fixed-term basis. You will maintain the traffic management system, operate the SCADA platform, weigh vehicles accurately and ensure safe, compliant site operations.

You will collaborate with engineers and team leaders to coordinate vessel discharge and storage activities, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced port environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a weighbridge and performing administrative support in an operational environment.
• Knowledge of bulk handling methods is a plus.
• Food safety standards or waste regulations knowledge is helpful but not essential.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the traffic management system and ensure safe site operation.
• Operate the SCADA system safely and efficiently, process tickets in compliance with SOPs.
• Coordinate with engineers, operatives and team leaders to discharge vessels and manage storage activities.
• Ensure timely vehicle movements and report delays to Shift Supervisor.
