Job summary

Peel Ports Group at the Port of Liverpool is seeking a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller on a fixed-term basis to keep the site safe and efficient. You will operate the weighbridge and SCADA system, process tickets, and act as a central point of contact for haulage and visitors.

The role emphasizes customer service, strong communication, and IT proficiency with Microsoft products. Experience with weighbridges and bulk handling is valued in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Excellent customer service experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the traffic management system and ensure safe operation of the site.
• Operate the weighbridge and process tickets in compliance with procedures.
• Communicate with engineers, operatives and team leaders to discharge vessels.
• Coordinate storage activities and support safe, efficient product movements.
• Report delays to the Shift Supervisor and ensure timely vehicle turnarounds.
