Job summary

A prominent educational institution in Burton on the Wolds is seeking a Security Officer to conduct regular patrols, serve as a point of contact, and enforce safety policies on campus. The ideal candidate will have security experience, hold an SIA licence, and be customer-oriented. Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience providing security and/or locking down buildings on a large site.
  • Hold an SIA licence.
  • Possess or be willing to work towards a recognised First Aid qualification.
  • Demonstrate a professional approach.
  • Show ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Enforce the college’s behaviour policy to create a safer environment for all staff and students and a better visitor experience.
Shift Pattern

The post holder requires flexibility to work a rotational shift pattern. The role involves 22 hours per week over 2 days, primarily Saturday and Sunday. Hours will be discussed at interview. Some flexibility may be required.
