Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Woking is seeking a friendly Weekend Evening Receptionist to join the team on a part-time basis. You'll provide a professional, welcoming reception experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Working hours are 12 hours per week, Saturdays and Sundays 3pm-9pm. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, managing sign-in, handling calls, and maintaining security and confidentiality. Prior reception experience and GCSEs are desirable.

Qualifications

• Receptionist role with weekend/evening hours, part-time 12 hours per week.
• Create a welcoming, professional reception experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Manage visitor sign-in, switchboard, and security procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate records of visitors and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, welcoming reception experience.
• Comply with strict and robust security protocols.
• Greet visitors, notify staff of arrival.
• Ensure visitors sign in/out, and that patients leaving/returning are recorded appropriately.
• Answer and transfer calls and take messages as needed.
• Sort and distribute post, assist with general duties.
• Keep the reception area clean and tidy.
• Promote safety and security of all site users.
