Job summary

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of engineering design processes, preferably in defence or complex weapon systems.
  • Knowledge of high integrity hardware, networking technologies, custom electronics, or complex mechanical design.
  • Proven experience managing small teams or holding team leadership roles in technical environments.
  • Familiarity with military and commercial standards and certification processes.

Responsibilities

  • Managing technical status and progression of assigned work packages.
  • Specifying clear and precise requirements for internal and external design teams.
  • Collaborating with national and international Design Authorities to define technical solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with standards throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Developing verification and validation strategies.
  • Preparing certification documentation for weapon systems.
  • Facilitating technical information exchange within supply chains.
