Job Title: Water Treatment Service Chemist / Account Manager
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits: £35k- £55k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Treatment Service Chemist / Account Manager through to Lead Water Treatment Service Chemist / Account Manager
Profile: A established and rapidly growing Water treatment company, now seeing a organised and knowledgeable Water Treatment Service Chemist / Account Manager based in and around the Sheffield area. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing Accounts for key clients within Food & Beverage, Heavy Industry and Manufacturing, carrying out sampling and analysis of industrial water treatment systems and upselling remaining services.
Applications will be considered from: Chesterfield, Mansfield, Nottingham, Derby, Loughborough, Leicester, Sheffield, Rotherham, Worksop, Barnsley, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Pontefract, Chesterfield.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Will have extensive experience working within the Water Treatment industry, for a reputable company.
• Will ideally hold a chemistry related degree or qualification.
• Will hold previous sales / account management experience.
• Will have excellent knowledge of Water Treatment Systems and use of chemicals.
• Will have excellent knowledge of ACOP L8 and relevant Health & Safety Legislations.
• Will have excellent communication skills.

The Role:

• Managing own schedule, attending site visits to carry out weekly / monthly sampling and analysis on cooling towers and steam boilers.
• Carrying out closed system sampling, analysis, and reporting, and performing dosing with the correct chemicals.
• Producing reports for clients and providing technical advice.
• Managing existing accounts as well as resourcing and securing new business.
• Identifying commercial opportunities within accounts and upselling services.
• Liaising with clients and maintaining excellent relationships, providing support over the phone and on site.
• Using on site test kits to interpret results.
