Job summary

A water treatment company is seeking a Water Treatment Sales Manager in Birmingham. You will manage and grow client accounts by upselling services, preparing quotes, and ensuring targets are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the water treatment industry and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in sales and account management is essential. This position offers a salary between £35k and £45k along with training and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the water treatment industry, including steam boilers.
  • Experience managing and developing accounts.
  • Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and Health and Safety legislations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, grow, and develop new and existing accounts.

Level of Experience: Trainee Water Treatment Sales Manager through to Lead Water Treatment Sales Manager

Profile: Our client is a reputable water treatment / legionella company that works hard to provide their varied client base with the full range of Legionella / water treatment duties across the UK. They are looking for an organised and competent Water Treatment Sales Manager in and around the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will have previous hands‑on experience in the water treatment industry and a proven track record of overseeing a team of sales engineers, business‑to‑business sales, and developing both existing and new business.

Applications will be considered from: Wolverhampton, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Kidderminster, Worcester, Solihull, Northampton, Coventry, Stafford, Loughborough, Reddich, Bromsgrove, Tamworth, Cannock, Hinkley, Rugby.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of the Water Hygiene / Treatment industry, including steam boilers, closed systems, and cooling tower accounts.
  • Experience managing, growing, and developing new and existing accounts.
  • Strong sales, commercial, and accounts background.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good working knowledge of relevant ACOP L8 / Health and Safety legislations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
