Qualifications

Our established and successful clients, who specialise within commercial and industrial water treatment, are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Treatment Equipment Engineer based in or around the Croydon area. The ideal candidate must have previous experience installing and servicing water softeners, chlorine dioxide units, reverse osmosis, and chemical dosing units. Consideration will be given to applications from Mitcham, Bromley, Epsom and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• A good working knowledge of water industry guidelines.
• Will ideally hold the 17th or 18th electrical and knowledge of wiring requirements for water treatment equipment.
• Experience working on water treatment equipment within a commercial / industrial setting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Competent with Microsoft Office package.
• Previous experience in this role essential.

Role

• Dealing with customer queries and ensuring all work is carried out in a timely fashion.
• Ensuring all Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to.
• Completing site logbooks to agreed specifications.
• Carrying out water softener servicing and maintenance across commercial and industrial properties.
• Undertaking the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of water treatment equipment.
• Carrying out legionella control duties.
• Liaising with clients to advise on findings / results.
• Carrying out pre-work risk assessments and ensuring all paperwork is correct.
• Maintaining a strong working relationship with clients.
