Job summary

Primary Water Solutions Ltd, a specialist water hygiene and treatment consultancy, seeks a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow our customer base across the water compliance sector. You will identify opportunities, build strong client relationships and manage a sales pipeline from initial contact to contract award.

The role requires prior water industry experience, the ability to discuss Legionella compliance and water treatment services, and a proactive, autonomous work

Qualifications

• Experience in water industry and Legionella/compliance services.
• Proven track record in developing new accounts and managing relationships.
• Willingness to travel and hold a UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in water hygiene, Legionella, and compliance.
• Build relationships with facilities managers, estates teams, and decision-makers.
• Generate and manage your own sales pipeline from initial contact to contract award.
• Attend client meetings and site visits to understand customer requirements.
• Prepare proposals and commercial presentations.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities and pipeline progress.
