Qualifications

• BEng with a 2:1 in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• MEng in Civil/Structural or Water Engineering would be advantageous.
• Water-related modules are beneficial.
• Willingness to work toward professional qualifications (ICE & CIWEM).
• Demonstrable interest in water projects and relevant work experience is desirable.
• Good report writing skills and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Undertake numerical analysis and use computer programs to study potable, surface and wastewater systems.
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies on potable, foul, and surface water solutions.
• Perform structural analysis and design including load cases and design scenarios.
• Produce water infrastructure designs such as pump systems and pipe networks.
• Create and check working drawings and assist Technicians.
• Stay updated with regulatory legislation and guidelines affecting design work.
• Collaborate with team members on technical work, site work, and project management.
• Participate in on-site visits to understand implementation of designs.
