Severn Trent Plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Distribution Service Technician to help ensure a continuous supply of high-quality drinking water. You will operate and maintain the underground water network, inspect assets, and resolve issues with a strong emphasis on customer service and safety.

You will be based at our Warwickshire site, joining the Customer Operations team. The role requires 40 hours per week across shifts, including evenings and weekends, and requires a full UK driving

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles within a utility-based environment is essential.
• Proficiency in IT and computer literacy is essential.

Responsabilités

• Inspecting, operating and repairing water network assets to meet customer needs.
• Trace mains and apparatus, perform valve operations, assess future repair locations and promote network improvements.
• Take ownership of customer issues and meet service level agreements.
• Carry out risk assessments and comply with statutory standards.
• Work 40 hours per week across shift patterns including evenings and weekends.
