Severn Trent is seeking a Distribution Service Technician to safeguard a steady supply of high-quality drinking water. You will operate and maintain our underground network, tracing mains, operating valves, and promoting improvements while prioritising customer satisfaction.

The role is based at our Shrewsbury site with a 40-hour week and shifts including evenings and weekends. A full UK driving licence is essential, and IT literacy helps you communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a utility setting.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good IT literacy and ability to explain technical information clearly.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, operate and maintain underground water network assets to ensure supply.
• Trace mains and apparatus, perform valve operations and assess repair locations.
