Job summary

Severn Trent is hiring a Distribution Service Technician for its Warwickshire site within the Customer Operations department. You will work 40 hours per week, following a shift pattern that includes evenings and weekends to maintain a resilient drinking-water network and high-quality customer service.

You will inspect, operate, and repair assets, focus on prompt issue resolution, and manage customer expectations while prioritising safety and compliance across the network.

Qualifications

• Experience in a utility-based industry is essential.
• Strong background in customer-facing roles.
• Proficiency in IT and computer literacy is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical information to stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Trace mains and apparatus and operate valves.
• Assess future repair locations and promote network improvements.
