Severn Trent Plc is recruiting a Water Telemetry Control Technician for our 24/7 Network Control Team in the UK. The role offers a 7-week rotating shift pattern averaging 37 hours per week, including mornings, afternoons, nights and some day shifts, with a competitive salary and benefits.

You will be trained and supported to grow within our progression framework, with robust training facilities, a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork and delivering reliable water supply to customers.

Qualifications

• Team player with a positive, caring attitude.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Calm under pressure with ability to handle complex information.
• Excellent numerical and written communication.
• GCSE English and Maths at level 5 or above.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry alarms and respond to issues in Water Supply & Distribution.
• Investigate problems and coordinate with operational teams to fix them.
• Adjust water levels to ensure treated water storage reservoirs operate optimally.
• Collaborate with Operational Control Centre teams to keep the system running smoothly.
