Job summary

Thames Water seeks an experienced Electrical Technician to join the Waste Water team in Thames Valley North, covering Aylesbury, Banbury, High Wycombe, Marlow and Oxford. You will inspect, maintain, diagnose faults and install or repair electrical equipment to keep sites operational, under minimal supervision.

You will also coach staff, support apprentices, and contribute to delivering excellent customer service while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship with significant experience in electrical systems.
• 18th Edition preferred, but training can be given.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Strong awareness of Health and Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive and planned maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant and equipment.
• Fault diagnosis, testing, installation, modification or repair of equipment.
• Record work and asset information to improve performance and raise future risks.
• Provide technical advice and coaching to staff, including apprentices.
