Job summary

Thames Water Ltd in Thames Valley North (Aylesbury, Banbury, High Wycombe, Marlow & Oxford) seeks an experienced Electrical Technician to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair electrical equipment across our sites.

You will work with minimal supervision, ensure health and safety, participate in standby rosta and overtime opportunities, and contribute to developing apprentices.

Full UK driving licence is required; 38 hours/week; company van and fuel card provided.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship with significant electrical experience.
• 18th Edition preferred; training available.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair electrical equipment across sites.
• Undertake reactive and planned maintenance; respond to alarms and faults.
• Record work and asset information; identify risks and propose improvements.
• Provide specialist technical advice and coach apprentices.
• Deliver excellent customer experience with internal and external stakeholders.
