Job summary

Pertemps Thames Water is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for the Waste Water team in the Thames Valley North area, including Aylesbury, Banbury, High Wycombe, Marlow and Oxford. You will inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair electrical equipment across sites.

With a time-served apprenticeship and NVQ/C&G Level 3 in electrical engineering, you will work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship with significant experience in electrical systems.
• NVQ or C&G Level 3 in electrical engineering is preferred.
• 18th Edition is preferred, but training can be given.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking reactive and planned maintenance, responding to alarms and fault finding to identify issues, fix or elevate.
• Planned maintenance of plant and equipment daily and installing new plant/equipment as required.
• Record work and asset information to improve business performance and raise risks for resolution.
• Provide specialist technical advice, coaching and developing staff including apprentices.
• Delivering excellent customer experience and interacting with customers professionally.
