Thames Water Utilities Limited in Bicester is seeking an Electrical Technician to inspect, maintain, fault‑diagnose, test, install, modify or repair mechanical plant and related electrical equipment at our Sewage Treatment Works, keeping sites operational for customers.

You will work with minimal supervision, undertake reactive and planned maintenance, record work and asset information, and provide specialist technical advice while coaching apprentices.

Qualificações

• Time-served apprentice or equivalent with significant experience in mechanical/electrical systems.
• 18th Edition preferred but training can be provided.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• Excellent communicator with internal and external staff and contractors.
• Aware of health and safety issues relevant to the industry.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, maintain, fault-diagnose, test, install, modify or repair mechanical plant and electrical equipment.
• Undertake reactive and planned maintenance and respond to alarms.
• Record work and asset information to improve performance.
• Provide technical advice and coach apprentices as needed.
