Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for the Cotswolds region. You will maintain electrical equipment across wastewater treatment sites, using proactive and reactive maintenance to keep assets running safely and reliably.

You will join a close-knit, high-performing team with opportunities to cross-skill across engineering disciplines and broaden operational knowledge. Base location is Witney, with a Monday–Friday 7:30–15:36 schedule.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship in an engineering sector.
• NVQ level 3 or greater in electrical engineering.
• Experience with BS7671 or 18th Edition electrical wiring regulations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively and reactively maintain electrical assets across the Cotswolds sites.
• Investigate plant failures and carry out repairs quickly to avoid process interruptions.
• Carry out service and replacement of assets including pumps, motors, starters and control gear.
• Support local maintenance teams with planned and breakdown maintenance on electromechanical wastewater assets.
• Provide technical advice and training to the wider team as required.
