Wychavon District Council is seeking a Waste and Recycling Improvement Officer to lead initiatives aimed at improving waste management and recycling efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in the waste services sector and be capable of engaging community groups to facilitate behavioural change. We are a small team who, with our contractors, look after a variety of front line services: waste, recycling, street cleansing, parks, open spaces, public toilets and environmental crime.
We are looking for a proactive and personable individual with a can‑do attitude to join our team who can lead and co‑ordinate programmes and campaigns related to household waste prevention and recycling efficiency improvements and effect behavioural change.
