Overview

The Warehouse Team Manager will support the site management team in the efficient and cost effective management of the warehouse operations. It will be your responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the daily Warehouse operation and enable the required level of service to be provided to the customer at all times.

Shift Pattern: 14:00 – 22:00

Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday

Responsibilities

• Ensure receiving, storing, picking and dispatch of goods are performed in the correct manner to agreed productivity levels and within budgetary constraints, while maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.

Qualifications / Experience

• Working knowledge of the Warehouse function within the FMCG distribution industry, and of supervising a depot Warehouse operation.
• General knowledge of the Transport function would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and train colleagues.
• Computer skills with MS Office for reporting and formal disciplinary processes.
