Overview

Position: Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Milton Keynes (MK4 3FU)
Shift patterns: Any Five From Seven, 7am until 3pm
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Salary: £27,322.00

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

Responsibilities
  • To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
  • To track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level
  • To promote, adhere to and monitor Health and Safety requirements on site, including manual handling health and safety requirements
  • Support with absence cover for other Team Leaders within the operation
Qualifications
  • Previous and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment is essential
  • Previous experience of preparation and distribution of volume orders
  • Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
  • Ability to lead by example and lead a team to successfully meet KPI's
