Responsibilities

  • Ensure sufficient stock to complete Production Orders on time.
  • Fulfill all customer requirements accurately & on time.
  • Conduct daily inventory checks in accordance with the Department Business Plan.
  • Ensure accuracy of material movements and complete SAP transactions.
  • Participate in Company stock checks and meet deadlines.
  • Follow all codes of practice set by ETL accurately.
  • Support Department KPI’s activities in line with the Business Plan.

Overview

Job title: Warehouse Operator

Department: Warehouse

Reports to: Warehouse Team leader

Position summary: The Post Holder will support the completion of all warehouse daily tasks, ensuring the availability and effective allocation of inventory and materials. Perform the activities necessary for the control of ETL’s perpetual inventory.

Job location: Telford, Shropshire

Note: In addition to these functions, Employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring there is sufficient stock to complete the required Production Orders on time.
  • Ensure all customer requirements (Internal & External) are fulfilled accurately & on time.
  • Inventory checks to be carried out daily in accordance with the Department Business Plan and Objectives.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all material movements throughout the supply chain & all SAP transactions are accurately completed.
  • Take an active part at all Company stock checks, ensuring deadlines are achieved.
  • Ensuring all codes of practice set out by ETL are followed correctly.
  • To participate in the completion of all Department KPI’s activities in line with the Business Plan.
  • Ensure all delivery advice notes (inbound & outbound) are signed, dated & filed correctly.
  • Picking and preparing customer orders both internal & external.
  • Ensure FIFO/FEFO is maintained within all aspects of the Warehouse procedures and processes.
  • Support Departmental involvement in Process Improvements by the forms of IQ Teams and Suggestions.
  • To contribute towards minimising the Environmental Impact of our activities.
  • To ensure that all activities are conducted with the utmost respect to the Health and Safety of one’s self and other employees.
  • To Comply with Epson Telford Limited Staff Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure that all people are treated with dignity and respect and maintain high standards of ethical behaviour, building and maintaining trusting relationships with team members, peers and superiors.
  • Deliver and Implement the Expectations of 5S, aiming towards being the Worldwide N° 1 Epson Company.
  • To undertake any Ad-hoc Tasks or Projects as requested.
  • Support customer requirements (Internal & External) and meet the needs of the business (Additional working & overtime etc.).

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Basic qualification in Maths & English

Desirable:

  • MHE Licences, Level 2 Warehouse Essentials
