Qualifications

  • A Pivot, Counterbalance and Ride-on PPT licence is preferred, but training may be provided.
  • Good communication and team working skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail is essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Pivot, Counterbalance and PPT forklift trucks to support warehouse operations.
  • Safely load and unload deliveries and maintain an organized warehouse layout.
  • Accurately receive, locate, pick, and dispatch goods using the warehouse management system.
  • Support inventory management and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
  • Complete documentation accurately and report any equipment defects.

Job Description: Are you passionate about warehouse operations and logistics? Looking to make a real impact in a dynamic and growing company? We're currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our dedicated team at our Highbridge site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Pivot, Counterbalance and PPT forklift trucks to support warehouse operations.
  • Safely load and unload deliveries, making sure stock is stored in the correct locations to maintain an organised and efficient warehouse layout.
  • Accurately receive, locate, pick, and dispatch goods using the warehouse management system and handheld scanners, ensuring all items are handled with care and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Support inventory management by replenishing and consolidating stock, helping to maintain optimal inventory levels and smooth operational flow.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑organised working environment, supporting health and safety standards throughout the warehouse.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and report any equipment defects or operational issues in line with established warehouse procedures.
