Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for loading and unloading stock.
• Ensuring that all stock is in accordance with delivery/advice notes and loading tickets.
• Operation of forklift truck and other equipment in accordance with your appropriate level of training.
• Assist in depot stock control, stock taking and reporting any stock shortages to the Warehouse Manager.
• Maintaining the security of the warehouse and stock at all times.
• General depot/equipment maintenance and cleanliness.
• Capability and desire to move heavy items around the warehouse, and on/off lorries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Operative role (essential).
• Fork truck trained (desirable).
• Proof of right to work in the UK.
• Experience of working individually, whilst forming part of a larger team.
• Commitment to the contribution of a profitable business operation.
• Willingness to learn and ability to retain information.
