Warehouse Operative

Menzies Distribution Solutions is currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Avonmouth. The role involves accurate and prompt picking, packing, and dispatching of warehouse goods, along with other duties to maintain efficient operations while adhering to high health and safety standards.

Details:

• Security clearance: BPSS & SC required
• Salary: £30,160 per annum
• Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (Rotating)
• Hours: 06:00-14:30, 09:30-18:00
• Out of hours (18:00-06:00) and weekend shifts (24 hours) required
• Hours per week: 42.5
• Employment: Full-time, permanent
• Pay: Monthly

Warehouse Operative responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety requirements
• Receive deliveries, check quantities, record receipt, and process paperwork
• Pick and pack customer orders to meet targets, dispatch with proper documentation
• Load trailers efficiently
• Store goods appropriately in racking systems
• Perform manual handling tasks safely
• Sign off on completed tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the warehouse and forecourts
• Conduct stock integrity and quality checks

Candidate requirements:

• FLT/Articulated/Counterbalance/PPT licenses are a plus
