A leading logistics firm in Lichfield is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee operations at the Screwfix Distribution Centre. This role involves managing a team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and driving operational improvements. Here at GXO, we're currently looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to support the Screwfix Distribution Centre, in Lichfield. This is an exciting opportunity where you'll play a critical role in shaping the culture, performance and future growth of the site supporting a major retail customer. Working closely with the General Manager, you'll help establish robust operational processes, build and develop high performing teams, and ensure the site delivers against service, cost and quality expectations from day one and beyond.
This is a full time, permanent position, where you'll be working Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Some flexibility is required; this is logistics after all!
You'll be paid a salary of up to £61,000 per annum DOE and receive 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). Must have proven senior operations management experience in a high-volume service driven operation.
Strong budgetary experience - including formulation and analysis.
Strong, proven project and change management with quantifiable results.
Will have excellent team building, leadership and motivational skills.
