Are you based in the Truro area? Do you have experience in the Construction Materials Industry or a Builder's Merchant? Minster, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Warehouse Assistant who's as passionate about great service as we are. At Minster, we’re proud to be part of STARK Building Materials UK and dedicated to providing top‑quality products and exceptional service to our customers. We’re a friendly and collaborative team, passionate about what we do and committed to doing it well.

Hours

7:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles, using a forklift where needed.
  • Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts.
  • Pick items to fulfil customer orders.
  • Check incoming stock deliveries and put away in the appropriate area.
  • Gain knowledge of product lines and services to maximise customer interactions.
  • Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face‑to‑face and over the phone).
  • Keep the branch clean and tidy to make a great first impression on our customers.
  • Make Health & Safety a priority, demonstrating how you can keep yourself and others safe at work.
  • Show a flexible approach to work.
  • Be a great team player, ready to support colleagues and customers when needed.
  • Communicate confidently, both over the phone and face‑to‑face.
  • Bring previous forklift experience; training will be provided.
