Overview

We are looking for a Ward Host to join the Healthcare team to prepare support to the Kitchen Chefs and wider Catering team in the preparation of food, load meals onto trolleys to be transported to the wards and ensure that they are delivered to the necessary wards in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Prepare support to Kitchen Chefs and wider Catering team in the preparation of food.
• Load meals onto trolleys and transport to wards, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain ward kitchens to the highest level of food safety and cleanliness, undertaking cleaning as required.
• Collaborate to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Good level of communicative English.
• Ability to work with numbers, be detail conscious, and have excellent time management skills.
• Food Safety Level 2.
• Understanding of COSHH guidelines.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, variable-temperature environment.
