A local NHS Trust in Macclesfield is looking for a Ward Clerk to join their busy midwifery team. This role involves providing clerical support within the maternity unit, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with staff. The successful candidate will help manage essential information and visitor interactions while demonstrating a commitment to maternity care. The position requires adaptability and effective time management skills, with a schedule of 30 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for maternity and 17.5 hours per week for the antenatal clinic.
This position is open to staff working at the Trust in the ‘ECT Family’, which includes current East Cheshire NHS Trust employees, both NHS personnel and ECT bank staff, ISS staff, and volunteers at the Trust. Applications from individuals outside these groups will not be accepted.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy midwifery team as a Ward Clerk in Maternity and Antenatal Clinic. The role requires a proactive member of the ward team who will assist in maintaining the smooth running of the clinical area and community setting, liaising with the multidisciplinary team and providing timely, accurate information to support patient flow under the direction of the ward manager.
