About The Role

We provide 24/7 dedicated nursing care and support for 7 people with a range of complex neurological conditions.

We are currently seeking a Support Worker/Carer (waking nights) to join our team. As a Support Worker/Carer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well‑being and development of the people we support.

Position: Support Worker/Carer (Waking Nights)

Location: Norwich

Hours: 36 hours per week

Shifts: Nights

WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP.

The role
  • You will provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower our young people to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans; you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.
  • Promote the health, well‑being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people supported and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
  • Facilitate social, educational and play or recreational activities for the people we support, supporting them to maintain contact with families or significant others is a key priority.
  • The role requires you to undertake all aspects of household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping. The people we support also need to be supported to manage their personal care and hygiene.
