Hourly Rate of Pay: £18.00 Per Hour
Based at: The home address in Hoddesdon – EN11
You will be supporting a 26‑year‑old lady with Aicardi Syndrome who lives at home with her parents, younger brothers and her two cocker spaniels. The young lady has epilepsy, so the candidate will need to be buccal trained. Training can be provided. She requires constant supervision; this is a waking night role where you will spend some time with the young lady watching films or playing games/jigsaws before she settles to bed. She enjoys watching films, listening to music and sometimes she can stand and have a little dance.
There are aspects of personal care involving showering, dressing and support using the bathroom. The employer will provide any necessary training.
Support with medication needs as instructed in the care plan. Training provided.
Cleaning and general maintenance of the home, preparing snacks and drinks.
