Job summary

Chapeltown Citizens Advice in Leeds is seeking a Training and Development Manager to lead the design and delivery of training for staff and volunteers across our local VCSE partnerships. The role supports two Advice first aid trainers, drives new project mobilisation and leads recruitment and onboarding of volunteers with line managers.

You will develop training plans, use client insights to tailor programmes, and ensure CPD and accreditation requirements are met in a dynamic, community-focused

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt, prioritise deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine passion for supporting others to develop their skills and capabilities.
• Experience in training staff and/or volunteers or experience as an adviser.

Responsibilities

• Work with two Advice first aid / community advice trainers to create and deliver training for local VCSE organisations.
• Support with new project mobilisation.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding of new volunteers and develop training plans with line managers.
• Support line managers and teams with identified development needs.
• Use insights to create and deliver training across delivery methods to improve accessibility.
• Ensure organisation complies with accreditation requirements (AQS, SQM, QAA) and CPD tracking.
