Job summary

Breath HR is looking for a Learning & Development Officer to lead onboarding and develop training plans for staff at Citizens Advice Bury & Bolton. You will support line managers with development needs and ensure compliance with various accreditation requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for supporting others. The role offers a hybrid working pattern after training, with a flexible approach to duties.

  • This role will be hybrid (70% in office across 3 sites or in the local community, 30% remote) following completion of required training
Overview

Citizens Advice Bury & Bolton (CABB) is a leading provider of legal advice and information, supporting thousands of clients every year. We are a busy, client focused and dynamic service with a track record of delivering high quality advice face to face, over the phone and digitally.

Responsibilities

Key elements and tasks within this role will include:

  • Lead onboarding new starters, developing training plans alongside line managers
  • Support line managers and teams with identified areas of development required
  • Use key insights (advice trends, client feedback, etc.) to create and deliver focused training across a range of delivery methods to ensure accessibility
  • Support the organisation to comply with accreditation requirements (AQS, SQM, QAA and others), ensuring all CPD requirements are met and mandatory training is completed
  • Work with local infrastructure organisations to create and deliver focused training for local VCSE organisations
  • Support new project mobilisation
